Job Description : he role holder will be responsible for the Management of HR Service Delivery Partners in the broad areas of Canteen, Transport & Security at our Plant in Chennai. In addition to these services, the role holder will also be responsible for other related Administration activities including Employee Uniforms, Sport / Recreation Areas and Crche. The person will also be acting as the Welfare Officer for the plant.
Education Qualification:
Full time degree/diploma courses as recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu (Any other degree in HR will be considered as an added advantage)

Service Partner Management
The role holder is responsible for managing and steering the Canteen, Transport & Security service partners in accordance to established Service Level Agreements
Optimizing processes, developing programs and initiatives to achieve greater efficiency in the respective areas
Establishing, agreeing & monitoring KPIs service delivery KPIs for customer satisfaction & effective commercials management
Managing, Leading and Supporting in-house service provider resources
Authorizing and Conducting mock, routine, random audits of Service Partner
Canteen Service Management
Responsible for the entire Canteen Operations (Service Partner, Menu, Facilities, Equipment)
Preparation and Review of Analytics (Wastage Reports, Trends, Consumption, etc.) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Finalization of Canteen Menus in consultation with local BMW Health Management
Spearheading the BMW Canteen Committee a decision making circle for all Canteen related activities
Streamlining Canteen related processes (Headcount Planning, Billing, Kitchen Processes, etc.)
Innovating Menu, Processes and Services of the Canteen to supplement overall service delivery
Planning and monitoring of the overall Canteen budget
Transport Service Management
Responsible for the entire Transport Management (Service Partner, fleet management, employee transportation management)
Preparation and Review of Analytics (Daily route reports, Attendances, Vehicle Reports, etc.)
Optimizing routes for effective vehicle utilization and cost realization
Streamlining Transport related processes (Employee Headcount / Route Planning, Billing, etc.)
Planning and monitoring of the overall Transport budget
Spearheading the BMW Transport Committee a decision making circle for all Transport related activities
Security Management
Responsible for the entire Plant Security Operations (Service Partner, Security Facilities)
Strategizing and Deploying Security Concepts in accordance to the Business Requirements
Streamlining Security Related Processes (Headcount Deployment, Billing)
Planning & Monitoring Security Budgets
Other responsibilities
Concept design, development and distribution of Employee Uniforms
Management of Employee Sports / Recreation areas, equipment and processes
Responsible for event arrangements as per the requirements of relevant stakeholders.
2) Welfare Officer
Establish contracts and hold consultations with a view to maintaining harmonious relations between the factory management and workers
Bring to the notice of the factory management the grievances of a worker or workers, with a view to secure expeditious redress and to act as a Liaison Officer between the management and labour
Study and understand the point of view of labour in order to help the factory management to shape and formulate labour policies and to interpret these policies to the workers in a language understood by them
Watch industrial relations with a view to use his influence in the event of a dispute arising between the factory management and workers and to bring about a settlement by persuasive efforts
Advise on fulfillment by the management and the concerned departments of the factory of their obligations, statutory or otherwise concerning Regulation of working hours, maternity benefit, medical care compensation for injuries and sickness and other welfare and social benefit measures
Promote such relations between the concerned departments of the factory and workers as are likely to bring about productive efficiency as well as amelioration in the working conditions and to help the workers in their adjustment and adoption of their working environments
Encourage the formation of works and Joint Production Committees, and Safety-First and Welfare Committees, and to supervise their work
Encourage provisions of amenities such as canteens, shelters for rest, creches, adequate latrine facilities, drinking water sickness and benevolent scheme payments, pension and superannuation funds, gratuity payments, granting of loans and legal advice to workers
Help the factory management in regulating the grant of leave with wages and explain to the workers the provisions relating to leave with wages and other leave privileges and to guide the workers in the matter of submission of applications for the grant of leave for regulating authorized absence
Advise on questions relating to provisions of welfare facilities, such as housing facilities, food stuffs, social and recreational facilities, sanitation, individual personnel problems and education of children
Advise the factory management on question relating to training of new starters, apprentices, workers on transfer and promotion, instructions and supervisors, supervise and control notice-boards and information bulletins to further education of workers and to encourage their attendance at Technical Institutes
Suggest measures which will raise the standard of living of workers and promote their well-being in general
