Job Description:
The responsibilities would include developing tier 1 services and frameworks for rendering across web and apps.
Our team has developed the services such as push notifications, native mobile weblab, site configuration solutions and plan to build similar solutions that would allow amazon to innovate faster on mobile.
You will be working with cross-functional teams across the company to launch best in class technical solutions for mobile applications.
You’ll also be actively involved in evangelism activities such as giving tech talks.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in an object oriented language such as Java.
- 1+ years of experience building front-end websites using tools such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Native iOS development.
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting website performance.
- Bachelors in Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building experiences on mobile devices, whether HTML or native (iOS or Android).
- Excellent knowledge of professional software engineering practices.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
- Familiar with Web Server technologies.
- Outstanding written, presentation and communication skills.
- Driven to provide the best customer experience.
- Fast learner, enjoys a fast paced environment, and will unwaveringly drive issues to conclusions.
