Job Description : Design and Development of Automotive Lighting assemblies/ Sub Assemblies/ Components from concept to production release
Benchmarking, Cost Reduction, DFMEA, DFA, DFS
Explore new technologies for future use.
Technical project management
Support for prototype, pre-production & production activities.
Work Location: Pune
Distinguishing skills required : Knowledge of design aspects for Automotive lighting, GD&T analysis of assembly.
Proficient in Computer aided analytical tools to assist in a faster, better and cost effective design. 3D layout and design, Mechanical analysis.
CAD - CATIA V5 hands on experience is must.
Experience in design of components and related knowledge of material science, tooling requirements, manufacturing processes & Assembly... etc.
Knowledge of definition and evaluation of illumination harmony & force feel HAPTICS, surface finish, texture and colour.
Knowledge of interfacing components to ensure system level design compatibility, robustness, DFA, DFS.
Experience in mechatronics systems preferred.
Experience in Automotive lighting is must.
Working knowledge of problem solving techniques and design optimization.
Knowledge of verification, testing, regulatory and validation requirements.
Reliability techniques awareness
Should know the regulatory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, ECE etc.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with cross functional team to achieve the required functional / cost / weight /timing & quality objectives.
